“Understanding Our Neighbors: Interfaith Relations in St. Louis.”

Our Torah text teaches us to “Love our neighbor as ourselves,” but did it mean everyone?  Rabbi Roxanne Shapiro of the Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis will be our special guest.  Together, we will explore the status of relations between different faith communities in St. Louis.  How and for what purposes do we come together and where are the places that require extra sensitivity?  We will discuss some of the efforts of Interfaith Partnership, such as the Sprouts of Peace program for children, and consider where we might be headed in our St. Louis community.
