High Holidays 2025 / 5786

Join us for the High Holidays this year at The J near Creve Coeur or from the comfort of your home on Zoom. All are welcome! We meet in the Arts and Education Building of The J’s Staenberg Family Complex, which features easy access and plentiful onsite parking. We utilize Zoom videoconferencing to ensure that our spiritual and poetic services are interactive and fully participatory for our virtual worshippers as well.

At Shir Hadash you can expect friendly, welcoming people and vibrant, music-filled services. Our services will be led by Rabbi Shira Singelenberg and Cantorial Soloist Layla Frankel, along with several of our talented Shir Hadash musicians.

ALL ARE WELCOME! Whether you plan to attend at The J or via Zoom, we ask that you register below so we can welcome you in person and send you a Zoom invitation. Everyone who RSVPs will also receive a Zoom link, so you will have last minute flexibility to switch from in-person to virtual.

HELP US KEEP OUR HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES ACCESSIBLE TO ALL: Donations in appreciation of our complimentary High Holiday services are never expected but are always welcome and greatly appreciated. DONATE HERE

YIZKOR MEMORIAL BOOK: We are producing a Memorial Book for the High Holidays that will be used during our Yom Kippur Yizkor service and during Festival Yizkor services throughout the year. Click here for details on how to remember your loved ones in this special way. The submission deadline is Friday, Sept. 19, 2025.

TREE OF LIFE PERPETUAL MEMORIAL: The beautiful Tree of Life affixed to our Aron Kodesh/Holy Ark serves as a visible remembrance of our dearly departed Shir Hadash members and loved ones.
