The Holiness of Social Justice: Bringing Meaning into the New Year
Join us at 7 p.m. The J (Arts & Education Building) for an evening of introspection and self-reflection as we prepare to usher in the High Holy Days. We'll begin with a Torah-based discussion of Leviticus 19, which contains admonitions about how to treat others justly. Tzedek (Justice) is a priority in Judaism and a means of bringing more holiness into our lives.
Following our discussion we'll break to enjoy a potluck dessert before concluding our evening with Havdalah, and a moving S'lichot service.
Please bring a dessert or beverage to share. To RSVP or for more information, contact Cheryl Whatley, firstname.lastname@example.org.
